questions
1) How has God changed your life the most?
2) How would you rate yourself on "teachableness" 1-10 ten being excellent?
3) The last few verses of this passage tell why transformation never happened for the pharisees. Their pride and critical thinking got in their way. All they could see were the reasons not to follow Jesus. How has pride affected your relationship with God?
prayer
Lord change us. We want to be teachable - we don't want to miss what you're doing around us out of fear or pride. Thank you for involving us in your plan. Thank you for your patience with us!

What does verse 35 mean?
Many times when there is a confusing verse like that the first thing I do is read it in several other version.
At www.biblegateway.com there are many to choose from. I use the New Living Translation, The message, The NASV and the Contemporary English.
The CE says, "Yet wisdom is shown to be right by what its followers do." Jesus is saying that he and John had been falsely judged. If their accusers simply looked at the results of Jesus' and John's ministry they could see they had misjudged.
